Isela Blair graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism with a collateral field of study in Sociology from California State University at Northridge, and began her career in the growing field of telecommunications. After a few years at PR firms, gaining industry contacts and fast becoming a seasoned publicist, Isela decided to launch her own public relations and marketing firm. Haute Life PR.Marketing.Events was founded in 2000 (formerly named Leifer PR) and has since occupied a niche in providing PR & Marketing services for small to mid-sized companies within a wide variety of industries.Isela specializes in public relations, marketing, brand management and special event planning. She continues to be a leader in her field and is also the creator and founder of one of the country’s top sample sales, Sassy City Chicks (www.SassyCityChicks.com). This national event was born in 2001 and has grown to be one of the most successful bargain shopping events that is currently found in 6 major markets; Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas & Miami. Additionally Isela has produced local festivals (West Basin Water Harvest Festival) and specializes in managing & coordinating events that draw over 1000 attendees per event.
Isela was raised in Santa Barbara and relocated her family and business from the LA area to the South Bay in 2005. Busy city life grew tiresome and life at the beach felt like home. Isela is married and has 2 young boys and is a very active member in the South Bay business community. Isela is the 2009-2010 Chair for the Manhattan Beach Young Professionals (www.mbyp.org) and is very active within the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Jenna Watson. Event Sales Coordinator
Jenna Watson is the Event and Sales Coordinator for Sassy City Chicks Fashion Bash events and joined the Haute Life PR team in August of 2009. Jenna manages designer relations for Sassy City Chicks premier shopping events as well as event logistics. Jenna graduated with honors from California State University Long Beach in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. She was an actress/model for 5 years as well as a promotional spokesperson for various marketing campaigns. She plans to obtain her Master’s degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies in 2011 and resides in the South Bay as well.
